Through June 16th to 28th of 2011, Lee, Hyoungmo and Kim, Kijung are seasoned veterans of races, and now just competed and just ranked top among 4 different all teams in RAAM(Race Across America). The course which is called death race is about 4,810Km and is run from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis MD; the race must be completed within 12 days for teams. Hyoungmo and Kijung wore EQ bracelet while they complete the race. They were happy to wear EQ.
Lee and Kim teamed up for the first time at the RAMM which leads participants through a variety of landmarks in and around the valley, prairie and basin by mountain bikes.
Two guys were stubborn onto huge road trip either under rainfall or sun heat.
Now, they need just two thumbs way up! “We won. We survived, we completed it”. Lee and Kim persistently ditched their bikes to cross USA under sun, but they only let out smiles of satisfaction and sighs of relief after completing the race.
“The start to the race felt real good, we’re excited”, Lee recalls.
This was very unusual experiment to Kim and Lee, they recalled that “normally we race, but not this intensely much. I do love to do it again someday.”
They only had one real strategy, the completion; Lee has overcome arthritis few years ago because of bike, he feels great, new and confidence. “I convinced myself that I can do this. The riding was tough, but mood was jovial to me. While I ran, I tried to Keep focused and felt my balance point”.
